So I have had some Charlotteans ask who the Hattaways are since I mentioned them in my last post....Let me give you a quick intro...The Hattaways are a stellar family back home. Jim and Walta have raised four beautiful daughters- and made it look easy. Talent oozes from their pores. They sing, dance, play instruments, write, act, and are just generally fun to be around. The Osmonds have nothing on the Hattaways!

I don't know what to say about this probably exaggerated intro. I'm flattered. Can I just say that most of us Hattaways made it through our teenage years so well thanks to a dedicated and F.U.N. youth director and his wife who spent: 1)hours on Sunday School/camp curriculum, 2)money on food and entertainment for the youth group, and 3)vacation time and time away each other & kids for summer camps/over-nighters/YEC/SYATP, etc.
